This is how the suits ranking is. Suits have no value or meaning in poker unless you are drawing to see who deals first. There are four suits: Spades, Hearts, Diamonds and Clubs in order of highest to lowest
Hand Ranking

​​ROYAL FLUSH
A, K, Q, J, 10, all the same suit. No one can beat this hand!

FULL HOUSE
Three of a kind with a pair. Also known as a boat.


THREE OF A KIND
Three cards of the same rank. AKA "Trips" AKA "a Set"

STRAIGHT FLUSH
Five cards in a sequence, all in the same suit.

FLUSH
Any five cards of the same suit, but not in a sequence. If you have the Ace ~ known as the "Nut Flush"

TWO PAIRS
Two different pairs.

FOUR OF A KIND
All four cards of the same rank.

STRAIGHT
Five cards in a sequence, but not of the same suit.

ONE PAIR
Two cards of the same rank.
